Scandinavian Almond Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 c all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 stick melted butter

Instructions

Beat sugar, egg, extract and milk together well. Then add flour and baking powder, blend together Add melted butter and stir.

Spray pan generously with non-stick baking spray. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes or until edges are golden brown and toothpick inserted comes out clean.
