Nut Cake Recipe
A great sample from Swedish Cakes and Cookies
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup ground nuts
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Grease and flour a 1 liter (4 cup) loaf pan or 8 inch round cake pan.
Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a
time, beating well after each. Combine the nuts, flour and baking powder
and carefully fold into the egg mixture. Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake on a low oven rack for around 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
